Guide on how to add or update your company's bank details

This article explains how to add or update your company’s bank details in MDP. You can add bank details when creating a new company or update them later from the Company List.

Adding Company Bank Details

Bank details are the fourth step in the company setup process. You can add your company’s bank details when creating a new company or update them later when managing an existing company.

Select the account type that applies to your company:

Account Type

Field Details

Bank Account

Bank Name, Account Name, Account Number, Sort/Bank Code, Bank File Type

Building Society

Bank Name, Account Name, Building Society Roll Number, Bank File Type

International Bank Account

Bank Name, Account Name, Address, IBAN, ISO Country Code, ISO Currency Code, SWIFT Code, Bank File Type

Save Your Bank Details

Once you have entered all the required information, select the appropriate option:

  • Draft – Saves your progress so you can return and complete the setup later.

  • Save & Next – Saves your bank details and takes you to the next step in the company setup process.

Updating Company Bank Details

To update the bank details of the company, please follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to the Dashboard by clicking the logo. The Company List will then be displayed.

  2. Locate the company you want to update and click the Edit icon. This will open the company details page.

  3. In the Bank section, the + Add option will be displayed if no bank details were added during the initial setup. If bank details have already been added, the More button will be displayed.

  4. The bank details will open in a slider. Update the required information. For information about the available fields, refer to the Adding Company Bank Details section.

  5. Save or Discard Changes:

    • Click Save to confirm the updates.

    • Click the Close icon at the top right of the slider to discard changes.
