Worker Deletion

Sometimes, workers are created more than once because you want them in your system so badly. Or, workers are pushed through to a company by mistake (it happens!)

However, this will normally cause difficulties so there will now be an option to delete the workers 🚮

Other CRM Improvements

Who doesn't like to be compliant?!?! Who doesn't like to try and include everyone?!?!

Well, now you can be both in MDA with new details on KIDs and a new title available.

Financial Accounting Updates

This month, we've introduced a number of updates to our Financial Accounting section which we hope you'll find useful and hopefully save you some further time!


Bug Fixes 🔧

  • Previously, there was a scenario where if a worker was not paid in a particular period, MDA sent the pension contribution values to Smart as 0 and 0 which caused Smart to update the worker’s record incorrectly. So, we have resolved this issue.

  • “Bank file not being available for download” was an error for limited company payrolls since the last update. This has now been resolved and the user can download the bank file.

  • IBAN not populating in PDF for group invoices even though it is pulling through on the corresponding individual sales invoice has been the issue previously. This has now been resolved, and the user is able to see IBAN in the group invoice PDF.

Speed Improvement ⚡

Previously, while trying to create a page in CRM-> Businesses against business, business branch or business contact, we defaulted to the person in the "contact" field, but you could select any business in the drop down and create a page. This impacted the performance of the "create page" screen if many contacts were available in the organisation.

Now we have defaulted the contact in the business screen, and you cannot change the contact from that screen. This will improve the performance since we are not loading any contacts other than the selected business.

Also, whenever you go into a particular business and click "Pages List" from the Edit Business screen...

...The screen was loading all the pages in the organisation rather than just the contact's pages.

We have modified this to load only the pages that belong to the contact that you are currently on.
