Kendo Grid Implementation
As you all know, we are in the process of implementing Kendo Grids for all the screens to improve usability and performance. Click the below button to get an overview of Kendo Grid and the screens on which we have implemented this feature.
Restrict Negative Values
We have developed the new feature to restrict negative values while creating/submitting the timesheet. This will be configured at the organisational level. If the customer requests that it be configured, we will enable this option in the background. After the configuration, the user (contractor/client user/agency user) won't be able to give negative values in the units field, pay rate, or charge rate while submitting the timesheet. When the user tries to enter negative values, the system won't allow the user to enter the negative symbol in the fields.
The user will be allowed to enter negative values only while creating adjustment timesheets in the Units field.
Restrict Chaser Email for Client User
Previously, there was no option to stop the automatic chaser email for client users if they didn't want to receive it on a daily basis. Now we have provided the option for agency users in the client user screen to set that against each client user.

If the agency user enabled this option, the client user won't receive an automatic chaser email for authorising timesheets even though he has awaiting authorisation timesheets.
Remember Sort Order in User Timesheets
We have implemented the new feature in the User Timesheets screen for remembering the sort order for columns in the grid. If the user sorted any column in the grid (ex: contractor in alphabetical order), went to any other screen for checking other stuff, and once the user comes back to the timesheets screen, the sort order will remain as it was when he left the screen.
The sort order will remain the same for your user session, and this won't change until or unless you apply any filters.
Contractor Info Changes
Previously, there was no option for the agency user to change the country of the user other than the United Kingdom. Now, we have allowed the agency user to change the country of the user in "Contact Info" if they want to, and subsequent counties or states will be automatically populated based on the country selected.
Also, they can enter a maximum of 13 characters and a minimum of 11 in the "Mobile No." field.
The candidate can edit the country code and mobile number (up to 13) in their portal in the profile section.
View Timesheet in Slider - Agency User and Client User
We have made the timesheet view easy for agency and client users by opening it in the slider instead of opening it in the new screen.
This will make life easier for the user if they want to view multiple timesheets one by one. They can simply close the slider and move on to the next one instead of coming back to the list screen and viewing the next one.
This slider view will be the same for client users in their portal as well.
Create Timesheet - Auto Populate Assignment details
We have given the new provision to the agency user and candidate when they create timesheets by auto-populating some of the fields so that they don't need to select.
Agency User :
When they create a manual timesheet for any candidate, they have to select the assignment, month, and weeks to submit the timesheet every time. Now, we will auto populate the assignment number, month, and weeks provided the below conditions are met.
1) If the candidate has only one active assignment
2) If the candidate has not submitted a timesheet for the last week (or) the current week
3) If the assignment has not ended (or) only ended last week.
The system will only check if the candidate submitted a timesheet for last week, and if so, current week will be automatically loaded; otherwise, it will load the last week, but the system won't automatically populate the details if the contractor hasn't submitted the week's timesheet if it is older than the last two weeks. In this case, you have to manually select the details to submit the timesheet.
If the worker has more than one assignment, the month and week details will be automatically populated when they select the particular assignment provided if it satisfies the above conditions.
Candidate Portal :
The same feature is available for candidates when they try to submit the timesheet. When the candidate clicks "Create Timesheet" from the dashboard, the details will be automatically populated if it satisfies the above-specified conditions.
Adjustment Screen Retire
Currently, you can find the adjustment timesheets either in the User Timesheets screen (or) in the Adjustment screen. We have now removed the adjustment screen, and the user will be redirected to the User Timesheets screen when they select the "Adjustment" menu, with adjustments filtered automatically as shown in the below screenshot. We have provided the "Reference Timesheet" field in the User Timesheets screen itself since this field was available in the Adjustment screen but not in the User Timesheets screen.
As you are already aware, you can still see adjustment timesheets in the User Timesheets screen if you have filtered "Only Adjustments".
