We have some exciting new features and screens in our latest release; keep reading to find out more!

Here's the overview! Click on any link below to go straight to that section or read on to see all the latest updated

Payroll Notes

We recognise that you may have reasons to check a worker's pay before completing the payroll. For example, if the worker is on a student visa and cannot work more than 20 hours.

We have now added a field in the people hub record for payroll notes. This is a free type box you can add any notes you need to! The note will appear on the PBE report when running the payroll.

Please follow the link below to read the full article on how to add this.

Split Margin

Currently in the system you can either charge a margin to the worker or charge a margin to the customer. You may come across scenarios where you need to charge a margin amount to both the customer and the worker.

We have added this functionality in the system to allow you to add a split margin which will charge to the customer AND the worker.

Please follow the link below for the full article on how to achieve this.

Consolidated Line Item on Group Invoices

Sometimes agencies may not require a full breakdown on the invoice and would like to view one line item and total. We have added an option to group invoices to consolidate the line items into a single line item with a field to add the line item description.

We note that some agencies also require an excel version of the invoice with the full breakdown. You can now achieve this with the new invoicing option 'send full breakdown in excel' when 'single consolidated line-item'.

Please follow the link below for the full article on how to achieve this.

Payroll Improvements

  • To avoid system issues in the timesheet upload screen, we will now be displaying an error message if the excel uploaded is encrypted/password protected or if unsupported special characters are used. We have also limited the system to read up to 50 columns.

  • The tiered matching logic has been improved for UAI and NI number. Where a UAI matches, but NI number matches another record, the line item will be marked un-matched with error message ‘UAI and NI Number match to different Assignments’. For a reminder on this, please follow the link for the full article.

  • The Jarvis Pension report has been updated so that ‘Postponed’, ‘Not Joined’, ‘No Duties’ and ‘Stop Contribution’ people in that period selected will not show in the report.

  • We have added an ‘Umbrella Company’ dropdown to the intermediary report screen to help identify which customer to select. For a reminder on how to create intermediary reports, please follow the link to full article.

Finance Improvements

We have made a number of finance improvements in this release, listed below:

  • Ability to edit and create credit notes for net pay deduction invoices.

  • Ability to allocate supplier payments and other receipts (expenses) directly using the allocation function instead of manually applying bank rules for the above transactions.

  • Blocking assignment deletion if there is an invoice linked to it.

  • Revamped the customer screen to show all customers and the credit & debit totals on the screen.

  • Removed Carriage Net Value from Invoice PDFs.

CRM Improvements

  • We have added a soft warning to indicate if a mobile number is already in use. Note: This will not stop you from creating or saving a record.

  • Alphanumerics are now available to use in Bank Account Names.
