New Features πŸ†•

We have added a few new features to My Digital Timesheets this month:

Email Templates

Previously, there was no provision for you to see the email contents for any of the sections like account activation, sales invoice, purchase invoice, etc. inside the application. Now we have given you the feature to see the email contents for all sections (Agency Admin) and make your own amendments to those templates as you wish. Please see further details below on how this works:

General Improvements

  1. Client PO Reference has been added to the grid in the Assignments screen. Previously, MDA generated PO numbers were displayed in the Assignments list screen, which made no sense to you, so we have added actual client references to the screen. It will be displayed as below; you have to click "View" to see the actual PO reference number because sometimes it may have been long. So to accommodate the space in the grid, we have given the View option to view the actual PO ref number.

However, when you export the assignment, it will show the client reference in the PO Details column.

  2. We have added the "Client Ref." field in all grids that relate to clients (Example : Sales invoice (Batch list, PDF, Create/Edit Batch, Sales invoice Display), Assignments, User timesheets, etc.) Some customers may want to set up multiple clients with the same name but different references. In this situation, there was no easy way to differentiate those clients in all grids, now we have given that Client Ref. in most of the screens that relate to clients.

In order to keep it on the grid, you would have to select "Grid Columns", select "Client Ref." and click Apply. Then it will be available whenever you land on this screen.

  3. We have also included the inactive supplier in the bank file. Previously, if the supplier was inactive when downloading the bank file, it wouldn't include the supplier. This happens after remittance runs for the worker, and then the supplier becomes inactive. Going forward, it will work in such a way that, if the remittance runs for the supplier, the bank file will include the supplier even though it becomes inactive.

  4. Currently, in a group remittance batch list, the most recently updated batch is displayed at the top, which leads to some draft batches displaying below approved batches. Usually, you want to see the draft batches at the top, and the most recently approved remittance batch should show below the last draft batch so that you can download the bank file and upload it to pay the suppliers. Now we have made it work exactly the same way. Even though some batches were approved after the "Draft" batch, you will see them below the draft batch.

  5. We have added a new field in the grid called "Cancelled By" in User timesheets list screen. In MDT, there are two ways to cancel the period for the worker. The worker itself can mention that he didn't work for the period in their portal, or you can add the cancelled period directly to the assignment. So the addition of a new field will let you know who has actually cancelled the period. When you hover over the field, it will show either "Agency" (or) "Candidate".

  6. Multi-sorting option:

We have enabled the multi sorting option in some of the major screens (example: Assignments, User Timesheets, Run Sales Invoice Batch, Run Payment Remittance Batch, etc.) to help you sort multiple columns simultaneously in the grid based on their requirements.

For example, while running the batch, if you want to split the contractors based on the week-ending date, there is no way to do it before because you can either sort based on the contractor or the week-ending date. Now we have given you the provision to first sort the contractor column, and you have to click "CTRL" on your keyboard and click the other column to sort it simultaneously. Now the list is sorted based on contractor (ascending order) and week-ending date (ascending).

In a similar way, you can sort as many columns as you like. It's better to select items per page and increase them so that you can make use of this option efficiently.

    Bug Fixes πŸ”§

    • You can now change the payment frequency for the workers after they submit timesheets if the split-weeks option is not enabled inside the organisation.

    • Ability to add expenses against each timesheets in the User Timesheets screen if it is imported (or) manual timesheets.
