Recent changes to email security standards from several large providers could see emails that fail authentication marked as spam or rejected outright unless their settings are correctly configured. To ensure your emails reach recipients, it's essential to verify your domain.

Furthermore, any organisation sending over 5,000 electronic messages must implement DMARC authentication technology.

DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance) is a key tool that helps mail administrators prevent hackers and other attackers from spoofing their organisation and domain

DMARC is always used with these two email authentication methods or checks:

  • Sender Policy Framework (SPF) lets the domain owner authorise IP addresses that are allowed to send email for the domain. Receiving servers can verify that messages appearing to come from a specific domain are sent from servers allowed by the domain owner.

  • Domain Keys Identified Mail (DKIM) adds a digital signature to every sent message. Receiving servers use the signature to verify messages are authentic and weren't forged or changed during transit.

This will ensure that e-mails sent from your domains are genuine and that those you receive have not been spoofed. So it won't be marked as spam or rejected

In matters of security, we go the extra mile to ensure safety. We offer domain verification through MDA, ensuring that emails sent via MDA won't be flagged as spam or rejected.

Verify Domain:

To authenticate your domain, kindly navigate to Settings -> Organization Settings, located at the top right corner of the screen (or) CRM -> CRM Settings.

Within the Organization Settings page, you'll find a tab named "Verify Domain/Email".

Upon clicking on that tab, a slider will open up. Within this slider, you can input your domain name and then proceed by clicking the "Verify Domain" button.

Note: You can only verify one domain in total. Please don't include the www or http in the domain name.

If the verification status is pending, then you can delete and add a new domain if you want to make changes. Once it is verified, you can't change it.

Once you click the verify domain, you'll receive the DKIM records. You can either click on the "View" icon to see the details or click on the "Download" icon to save the information as a CSV file. The verification status will show as "Pending" during this time.

Once you've obtained the DKIM tokens, it's necessary to request that your IT administrator to incorporate them into your domain configurations.

You can click on the "Download" icon to download the same details in the CSV file

Once these are added to your domain, the verification process will happen. Once the verification is done, this will be changed to success.

Note: This verification process may take up to 72 hours to complete. Typically, this should take the amount of time specified in your DNS TTL configuration.

Just to highlight again, these tokens need to be configured in your domain. Once it is done, your emails will no longer marked as spam πŸ˜ƒ
