People Hub: Employment Creation:
In this update, we have given you the ability to define new workers their own employee number during employment creation.
You can enter the employee number as you wish while creating employment, like below:
If you leave the field blank, the system will follow the auto-generation number sequence set in CRM -> Employee Number Setting (existing logic).
This field is only editable while creating employment; After you have created the employment by defining your own Employee number, that won’t be editable (disabled).
Re-Join Process:
Similarly, while re-joining the worker from People Hub -> People List, you can enter their own employee number.
The same functionality as employment creation in People Hub (can define employee number only while re-joining the worker). After this process, it won’t be editable. If you leave the field blank, the system will follow the auto-generation number sequence set in CRM -> Employee Number Setting as per existing logic.
