Overview:
There is a growing requirement to produce KIDs for employees as well as self employed workers so we have created these templates within MDA that will populate from the information added in the Illustrations screen.
Generation of a KID:
To generate the KIDs for CAE, you have to generate a CAE illustration. After generating the CAE illustration, you have to click the KID icon under the Action icon (purple colour icon) to initiate the process of downloading the KID.
Similar to Umbrella KID generation, you can see the fields that you need to select for generating a KID document. You have to select the role that you need to generate a KID for because you may create an illustration for comparing Umbrella, CAE, CIS take-home pay, but you can download a KID for one role at a time. For that, you would need to choose which payment solution you need KID for, company name inside the organisation, agency (business) name, and additional options (Include Candidate Name, Remove Cover Page).
The only difference for CAE and CIS KID generation is that, Type of Contract options will vary for CAE and CIS.
Type of Contract for CAE (Similar to Umbrella):
1. Apprenticeship
2. Contract for Services
3. Contract of Employment
4. Contract of Service
Type of Contract for CIS:
1. Contract for Services
2. Self Employed.
After choosing the mandatory fields, you can then click "Generate" for generating KID.
Once you click Generate, the PDF file will be downloaded. You can see different templates in the PDF according to the payment solution you have selected (CAE (or) CIS) to generate a KID.
