The Financial Accounting screens which have been updated in our June 2023 release are as follows:

Sales Invoice Section

We have retained the search filters from the old interface but made it sleeker:

There will be no data loaded on the Sales Invoice screen's initial loading to improve speed and performance but the start date will populate with the start of the "active" financial year:

Once invoices have been searched for, we have a new colour scheme to make the more important information stand out:

To make the typical workflow smoother and more efficient, the email status is now available in a text format and you can download the invoice straight from the Sales Invoice List:

When viewing or editing sales invoices, a slider appears with the invoice information and the updates are entered horizontally:

With Group Invoices, the existing functionality has been retained and now when adding individual invoices to the group invoice, you can filter on Assignment Number, Contractor Name, Week Ending Date and Total Value:

We have also retained the existing functionality for Credit Notes but have made some slight improvements:

  1. Previously we did not capture the rejection reason for the credit notes, but now we capture the rejection reason and show it in the credit note view screen.

  2. We have now provided an option to mail the credit notes directly from the credit note screen.

  3. We will now be showing the payroll status for the invoices on the allocation screen and if you try to allocate a credit note to a payroll processed invoice, there will be a warning.

Customer Section

The landing page for the Customer Screen will no longer show the debit and credit balances by default but this information is still available through this icon:

In addition, the invoice contact section has been removed and instead we have given the ability to add CC and BCC email addresses (a maximum of 5 for each):

The Payment on Account screen is now accessible from this icon and looks like the second image below:

We have retained the existing functionality but have added the ability to search on Group Invoice number, Invoice Number and Amount for the debit transactions:

Lastly for the customers segment, the customer groups menu has been migrated to the new interface with the existing functionality.

Reimbursements Section

The Reimbursement Screen has been migrated to the new interface with the existing functionality...

...and when viewing or editing the reimbursement, it now appears as a slider rather than traversing to a new page.

The contractor reimbursement screen has had a visual overhaul as well but the existing functionality remains. To access it from the reimbursement screen, the worker's name is no longer a hyperlink but you can click on this icon to traverse to it:

VAT Section

For the VAT screen, there has been quite the overhaul to the display:

On the left hand side, there will be the summary of the overall position and boxes 1-9. Then the VAT detail report will summarise the headline figures for anything that impacts the VAT submission.

For transactional analysis, the individual transactions are no longer available in the display but they are available on the download to help improve performance and the exported file splits the transactions into each section:
