The finance screens which have been updated are as follows:

As is the case with all of the new screens, please click on the below in the top right to access the new interface:

Assignments

In the new Assignment screen, no data will be loaded by default. This is to improve the overall speed and performance of the application πŸ’ͺ

We have added the functionality to search on Unique Agency Identifier as well as employee number. We have also moved the search fields around a little πŸ‘€

When creating a new assignment, assignment rates have been relocated to the bottom of the creation rather than on a separate tab:

Purchase Invoices (and Debit Notes)

Upon launching the new Purchase Invoice screen, no data will be displayed (again to improve speed and performance):

The Start Date will be defaulted to the first day of the current financial year on MDA. The date filter has remained non-mandatory but there is now functionality to search on Total Value πŸ’°

We have also added the functionality to export purchase invoices based on the search parameters πŸ₯³

Lastly, we have revamped the logic when creating purchase invoices. Instead of recording the gross value, the system will now allow you to record the net value and it will derive the gross based on the VAT % selected for the line item. The new form will show the gross value of each line item as well as the total value of the invoice recorded while generating the invoice 🧐

Debit Notes

Similar to the purchase invoice screen, no debit notes will be displayed when the screen is launched:

Again, as with purchase invoices, there is now a provision to search on Total Value

The logic change we have implemented with purchase invoices is also available when creating Debit Notes, so you can enter the net amount instead of gross value:

As you will see from the screenshot above, we have also added the functionality to add attachments to Debit Notes.

We hope you enjoy these new Finance screens! πŸŽ‰
