A lot of users have been thinking about a revamp of the user timesheets screen. Here you go! The team has worked hard to revamp and they've done it by providing the kendo grid for you!🀩

What is a Kendo Grid?

As you are already aware, Kendo Grid allows you to visualise and edit data by providing a variety of options about how to present and manipulate the data, such as sorting, filtering, grouping, etc. 😎

What does it look like and how do I use it?

The grid will have all the same options as the old screen but in a slightly different way.

You will be able to see the recently created or updated user timesheets in the last 30 days with the "Awaiting approval" status displayed by default on the screen.

You will also be able to filter by 60 days, 90 days, and the specified date range (you can give the date range for a maximum of 1 year).

You will be able to filter the "type of timesheets" with the appropriate status as well.

Then, you can choose your desired columns by clicking "Grid Columns" as in the payment remittance/sales invoice screen by making the selection and clicking "Apply."

Once you've made your selection, you can play around with the order and sizes of the columns to make your life easier, and whatever you decide on will be remembered until your user session ends, at which point it can be changed at any time!

Clicking on the 3 dots next to each column title brings up even more filtering options for you to mess around with, and you can even search within each separate column!😎

Also, we have given an additional filter option to search across all the timesheets available inside the agency and it is not limited to the last 30 days, last 60 days filter etc. The filter icon is available next to "Create Manual Timesheet" button.

You can click the filter icon and search for any timesheet data (individual/bulk) across the agency with the available filter options by clicking the "Apply" button (as in the old "All Timesheets" screen).

You can clear the filter by clicking "clear" at the top, so that it reverts back to the previous filter selected on the grid.

All the options that were in the grid on the old All timesheets/User Timesheets screen will be available in the new screen as well.

We hope that these changes in the new screen will make your life a whole lot easier! However, if you're not a fan of change, the old "All Timesheets" screen will still be available (All Timesheets - Old) for you to use (but only for the limited period!).

Enjoy😎
