The team has worked hard to improve the usability and increase the performance of the contractor screen for you.🀩

What is a Kendo Grid?

As you are already aware, Kendo Grids allow you to visualise and edit data by providing a variety of options about how to present and manipulate the data, such as sorting, filtering, grouping, etc. 😎

What does it look like and how do I use it?

We have changed the display of the contractor screen and given more options than on the old screen for the user to easily access the data. The screen will look like the below:

As you can see, all the options on the old screen will be displayed, like Create, Import, and Export, along with the new grid filters and additional actions from the grid itself.

You will be able to see all the contractors by default on the screen.

You will also be able to filter by 30, 60 days, 90 days, and the specified date range (you can give the date range for a maximum of 1 year) using the Last Created/Updated In Filter.

Then you can choose your desired columns by clicking "Grid Columns", making the selection and clicking "Apply."

Once you've made your selection, you can play around with the order and sizes of the columns to make your life easier, and whatever you decide on will be remembered until your user session ends, at which point it can be changed at any time!

Clicking on the 3 dots next to each column title brings up even more filtering options for you to mess around with, and you can even search within each separate column!😎

Also, we have given a lot of filter options at the top to search across all the contractors available inside the agency.

You can search by entering/selecting anything in the filter and click "Search"and search for any contractor data across the agency.

You can clear the filter by clicking "clear" in the filters.

You will be able to do the below actions for each contractor from the grid itself.

1. You can edit the contractor by clicking the edit icon under Actions column.

2. You can view and delete the contractor by clicking the eye icon and the delete icon, respectively, under the action column. You will be able to change the status of the contractor by using the below icon.

3. You will be able to grant login access to the contractor by clicking the user icon (green colour) and revoke the login access by clicking the user icon (red colour). You can resend the login invitation using email icon.

4. Also, you will be able to grant timesheet access using the calendar icon (blue colour) and revoke the timesheet access for already granted contractors using same calendar icon (red colour).

We hope that these new changes will make your life a whole lot easier! However, if you aren't a fan of change, the old contractors screen will still be available (Manage Contractors - Old) for you to use (but only for the limited period!).

Enjoy😎
