How to Customise the colours on System PDFs

The customise the colours on the payslips you need to have accounting firm admin access rights.

Navigate to the settings cog in the top right-hand corner of the screen and select “Organisation Settings”

Next, click on the subsection “PDF Theme”

From this section you can customise 5 colours which appear in the payslip:

Colour

Description

Heading/ Highlight Colour

This will be the colour of the minor headers

Primary Background Colour

This will be the background of the major headers

Primary Text Colour

This will be the text colour of the major headers

Secondary Background Colour

This will be the background colour of the sub-headers

Secondary Text Colour

This will be the text colour of the sub-headers

Text Colour

This will be the colour of the text throughout the PDF

Each section can be updated by keying in the hex colour directly into the box, or alternatively, you can pick the colour using the colour picker pop up which appears when you click on the text box.

Below the image shows the use of the colour picker to change the Primary colour to Green. The Hex reference has updated based on the selection in the picker and the preview box now displays the colour selected.

Once you have made all the changes you want you can also download a sample PDF to see exactly how your new colours will look in a Payslip.

Remember to press Save before leaving the screen!

If you have made a mistake and want to return to the system default setting you can do this by pressing the button as shown in the image below
