Signable Fields Matrix - MDA

The below tables are aimed at acting as a reference when creating your templates in Signable so as to understand which fields can be used for merging into outbound documents and which are available to back-populate into the system.

1) We have added some more fields for you to configure in your contracts in Signable. After the contractors filled out the contracts you can also backpopulate those fields in MDA.

You can configure the above fields in Signable and you can back populate the above fields once the contractor signed the contract. Previously, you couldn't populate "Self Employed" related fields such as Business Type, UTR Number etc. Now you can do that.

2) You can now configure Custom fields (CRM info) created in MDA on Signable similarly like other fields. You can use it as a Merge field (Text field) and for back populate after the contractor signs. You would have to give the exact name as in MDA to configure on Signable. For Example, if the custom field name in MDA is "Passport Expiry Date"...

...you would have to give the same name while configuring in Signable.

Date fields and drop-down fields cannot be used as merge field in Signable.

3) You can now configure the drop-down field in Signable. Even if you configure some of the fields as drop-down in Signable, those fields not available to back-populate previously. Now we have implemented that function. Hereafter, you can configure the Drop down fields such as Starter Form, Sex, Title, Holiday Pay, Business Type etc, this will be available for you to back populate after contractor signs the contract.

4) Previously, you would have faced one issue where the umbrella employment information displayed while back populating fields for Self Employed workers. Those fields were irrelevant for self employed workers. This won't be the case anymore, we have sorted this and employment information will get displayed based on what role the worker has been mapped to in Product section.

5) When you backpopulate fields in MDA People records, history was not captured before in Personal info and employment sections. But in this release, we have captured the history if you backpopulate fields to MDA via starter packs.
