Making a Payment
Once you have uploaded your file and reviewed the figures in the system, your screen will look similar to the below image. Press the make payment button in the top right of the summary screen.
A pop-up window will appear. Payment is made by card and will require your email address, full bank card number, expiry date and CVC value of the card. When you are ready to make a payment, click the “Pay” button. N.B. this service is provided by Stripe and your card details are not processed by ourselves.
If your payment has been successful, you will return to the VAT summary screen, and a green pop-up will display as per below (this will disappear after a few seconds).
Submitting the Return
Once payment has been made, you need to submit the return. If you like, you can do one last check of the figures and make last-minute adjustments if necessary (press “upload excel" to re-import adjusted figures).
When you are ready to submit, click the “Submit Return” as shown below. N.B. this will only appear if a successful payment has been made.
After pressing the “Submit Return” button, a pop-up box will appear like the one below, by pressing proceed, you are agreeing to the declaration displayed. Press "Proceed" to submit your VAT return.
If you press Cancel, your VAT return WILL NOT be submitted.
If the return has been successful, you will get a success pop-up message like the one below. You will also see on the right of the screen a green indicator containing the returned data from HMRC as a receipt for your VAT return.
Your VAT return is now complete!
If you wish to download your VAT box values that you have submitted, you would need to click the "Download VAT Box" button at the top.
