Now that you know how to create companies, let’s learn what options you have in order to manage them.

On the Manage Companies screen, there is a search box allowing you to search for a specific company, business type or status.

There is also the ability to sort in ascending or descending alphabetical order by clicking on the downward arrow in the header and a page navigation option at the bottom of the screen to make it easy to find the company you want to make adjustments to.

From this screen, you have a few options on how to update your companies. This can be accessed by using the below buttons:

Secure Company

If this option is on (set to blue) then it restricts employee people type from being visible in the people hub.

Update Status

If you are no longer requiring activity on a company (e.g. your service contract has come to an end with a PSC), you can make the company inactive or “Blocked”. Simply click on the “Status" toggle to change the status of the company. This will mean all users will no longer have access to the company or records and you will no longer be billed for that company. The company will remain archived on the system and can be made active again by simply clicking on the toggle in the status column.

Edit Details

This option allows you to update the address of the company, change the assignment status and upload a Logo to the system which will be used for Payslips and Invoices

Delete

If the company has been created in error or you are certain you will not need the data from this company in the future you can delete the company. WARNING – if you delete the company all of the data will be removed from the system and you will be unable to recover it. If you are unsure if you require the data in future it is recommended to use the “Blocked” status instead.

Manage Users

Users who are linked to the company can be reviewed and managed by clicking this option. See section 2.3 for more details on managing users.
