Sometimes, you will prefer to set newly onboarded workers on hold before running payrolls due to various reasons such as RTW checks, contract agreements, etc., so we've given the option for you to set any of the stop payroll reasons as "Default"; then when you create workers, they will be set to stop payroll by default with the default reason set in stop payroll reason settings.

Stop Payroll Reason Settings - Changes:

CRM -> CRM Settings -> Stop Payroll Reason.

We've added the "Is Default" toggle button against each stop payroll reason (non mandatory).

If you want to put any newly onboarded workers created in MDA as stop payroll, then you can enable the "Is Default" toggle in any of the reasons.

For example, I'll enable "Onboarding Checks" reason as the default one.

Now, when you go to create workers in People Hub, either via Quick Create/Create option, you will see the stop payroll is enabled by default with the default reason set in stop payroll reason settings, so that even if you onboard any worker they will be on hold unless you disable it.

You can then turn off/disable stop payroll for the workers after you've completed necessary checks.

We hope this article is beneficial for you 🎉🥳.
