Custom People List Enhancements
Save column in Grid settings: We have given the option for you to save the column in grid settings for the specific population. Example, if you add any column in "Grid settings" for a specific population, it will get saved for that population you've selected in the top and it will only be remembered for the specific user (user-specific). This will be useful when you wish to see that same column every time for that custom people list.
Remember Sort & Page Size: We have given the ability for you to save sorting and page size for a specific set of population in a custom people list using the button in the grid called "Remember Sort and PageSize". This is to help you find the same sorting you did before whenever you select that population in the custom people list. Grid settings, page size, and sorting will be remembered until you click "Reset" on the search at the top. If you click "Reset," then the saved columns, sorting, and page size will be reset.
We have added the field - "Payroll 'Pending' Sales Invoice" in Custom People List. This will be more beneficial if you want to see any workers who has a payroll pending invoice along with along filters so that you can send communications to population. For example, you can create a population with this field and the RTW Application Status field to see workers who have a pending sales invoice with pending RTW checks and send email to those people.
General Improvements
Ability to add Sender Name in Text Anywhere (Organization settings) - When you send SMS in My Digital and if you have already using new Text Anywhere, the system will use the default sender that is configured in TA. If you want to send SMS using different sender names, you can configure this in MDA from now under CRM/Organization Settings -> Text Anywhere.
If you enable this option, you have to enter the sender name and save it, but this sender details should be configured and authorised in TA, then only it will work. This will be beneficial if you're using multiple organisations in MDA.We have given you the ability to update employee number at any time within People Hub -> worker record, and more importantly, some special characters (*, ",/,',-) are also allowed in that field.
Accrued Holiday Pay and Accrued employment costs will be displayed under "Company Income & Costs" on Umbrella illustration PDF moving forward as its technically the company costs rather than payment to the worker. Previously, it was displayed on Payments section.
Mandatory Self-Employed Fields when Rejoining workers: We've now made amendments to the process of rejoining workers as Self Employed. Previously we were only asking you to select the CIS option, rejoin date, and employee number when you rejoin workers as self-employed. There could be high chances where you proceed without completing employment details before verifying the worker (CIS), which makes the verification fail, and this in turn impacts payroll. The system will ask you to select business type and appropriate mandatory fields based on the type you're selecting, along with other mandatory fields if you rejoin workers as SE/CIS during the rejoin process.
